Apparently Trump Wanted Black Lives Matter Protestors Shot.
Can we really be surprised?
Even though it might seem like it was an eternity ago by now, overall I think we can all agree that 2020 was an absolutely bizarre, horrifying year for a number of reasons. Of course, there was the onset of the pandemic that we still find ourselves living in the midst of over two years later. At least one million people in the United States alone have died and millions more were left without jobs. And just months after the pandemic set in, the world watched the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis Police Officer Derek Chauvin. A murder that prompted protests in cities and towns across the United States, and around the world as well.
Well, according to an upcoming book by Mark Esper, President Trump had some ideas on how to handle the protestors in D.C.
