Apparently the Assassination of the United Healthcare CEO Has Been a ‘Wake-up Call’ For CEOs.

Discussing the public response to the assassination of Brian Thompson.

Well, he’s been found.

The man known as Luigi Mangione was considered a strong person of interest in the assassination of Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Healthcare. He was found in Pennsylvania and picked up at a McDonald’s and reportedly wrote a manifesto, and the American people wait to hear from him and see what comes next.

One thing we do know is that the rich and powerful clearly did not expect this type of reaction to what occurred, particularly those in the healthcare industry for obvious reasons.

I’ve made my position perfectly clear. I’m not going to even bother pretending to care at all that Brian Thompson is dead. I’m not going o waste any energy sympathizing for that man when there are tens of thousands of people every single year dying because they are uninsured or underinsured.

Growing up, my classmate’s mother died of breast cancer when we were six years old. It was the first time I had ever seen someone dealing with death, and I still remember seeing him crying into my teacher’s shoulder off to the side at recess his first day back. His little sister…
