Lets just say, for a number of reasons, both my personal and work life have not been easy lately. Full, honest disclosure: I have been struggling. Quite a bit. Just like countless other people are. Every day lately has been a battle just to get out of bed and go to work, and every night has been a battle just to do anything other than sit on the couch. I, like countless others, oftentimes have enjoyed sports as a way to take my mind off of things sometimes. Its been a way to bond with family members, make friends, and of course, banter back and forth online with fans of rival teams.

Kansas City Chiefs fans had a lot to celebrate today.

It was their parade day.

Their Chiefs have won the super bowl for the second year in a row. The beginning of their dynasty, as much as it might pain me to admit as a Bills fan. It was a time for joy for Kansas City. A time for the fans to gather with pride, wearing their jersey’s with the names of their favorite player on the back, and celebrate. A time for them to listen to the highly intoxicated, joyous, passionate speeches of the players on the stage, and cheer with the people around them.
