Americans Want President Biden to be Tougher on Israel.

Lets talk about the polling.

Yeah, it looks like things are escalating quickly in the Middle East.

Following the Israeli attack on their consulate in Syria that resulted in the deaths of seven members of their national guard, Iran has launched missiles at Israel.

It’s not exactly surprising, is it? It feels as though this has been a long time coming, and escalations of tensions in that region have been bound to happen. Particularly now, with what the state of Israel is doing to the people of Palestine.

But, how do the American people feel about it?

Matt Berg with Politico writes:

“…All told, 33 percent of Democratic voters felt the president was “not tough enough on Israel” during the Gaza conflict while just 8 percent said he was being “too tough.” Taken together, those two groups were roughly equal in size to the 42 percentage of Democratic voters who said his approach was “just right.”

The numbers, which were part of a comprehensive examination of voter attitudes towards U.S.-Israel relations and the crisis in Gaza, paint a stark picture for the White House.
