America Hates Joe Manchin.
As we should.
Well once again, the polling is in on notorious West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin, who very publicly has not ruled out running for President and as one might expect, America still hates him.
Eli Yokley with Morning Consult reports:
“Surveys conducted between Jan. 1 and March 31 show that 58% of Montana voters approve of Tester’s job performance, making him one of America’s most popular senators. In West Virginia, Manchin’s standing appears in the inverse, with 55% of voters giving him negative marks — landing him again among America’s most unpopular senators…”
Considering the fact that he’s among one of the most hated Senators among the broader Democratic base, suffice it to say it doesn’t bode much better for him outside of his state, either.
And yet, Democrats continue to allow him to run the show. They continue to let him play games, threatening a run for President as though he has any leg to stand on. They cower, treating him as though he comes from a position of good faith instead of just doing it because he can in order to be a spoiler for the political party he supposedly aligns with.
