A Trump Era Program Seeks to Privatize Medicare. Biden’s Allowing it to Continue.
Of course he is.
It’s no secret that I think we deserve better than Joe Biden.
One year in, it feels as though day by day I’m losing even more patience than the last when it comes to hearing arguments that he’s living up to the standard he promised, or is doing all that he can do in the current political climate. When we consider the cancellation of student loan debt, raising wages, expanding medicare, universal pre-k, robust legislation to combat climate change, voting rights legislation and other promises, Biden has inarguably been a miserable failure. What else is there to call it when he can’t even get members of his own party to do what’s necessary to ensure they’re not written into the minority for the next ten years at a minimum, or even vote for legislation literally named after his campaign agenda?
Of course, there are some on the left, and I would count themselves among them, who feel as though this may in fact be exactly as Biden wants it. After all, he is a fundamentally weak politician with absolutely no desire to fight for anything. That being said, there are certain actions taken under his administration that are absolutely unforgivable.
